Irrespective of the time of the cancellation, the conditions of the full refund of the booking are as follows:
– Cancellation within 14 days of arrival is accepted on condition of the provision of a positive COVID-19 test of all the members of the family travelling together.
– In case of the temporary suspension of the operation of the hotel by the authorities or the government.
Further conditions of a full refund for visitors from outside of Austria:
– In case of a government-imposed travel ban for tourists or the border being closed for anything other than essential travel, cancellation must be made in writing, within 10 days. The guest is then entitled to a full refund even if the cancellation is made on the day of arrival as stated above.
In case of failing to make the cancellation within 10 days of the travel ban being announced, the general cancellation terms according to the relevant Austrian Terms of Business for the Hospitality Sector are followed.
We strongly suggest taking out a cancellation insurance for the period of the planned holiday.
